Barbara Kimmitt is an associate in the firm's Tax Department and a member of the Wills and Estates Practice Group.

Barbara's practice focuses on the preparation of wills, enduring power of attorneys, personal directives, trusts, estate administrations and dependent adult applications.

Prior to joining Bennett Jones, Barbara developed her practice at a prominent regional law firm before becoming a sole practitioner where she primarily provided estate planning services to the clients of a Calgary-based financial planning firm. She is a former instructor at the Bar Admission Course and the Certified Financial Planners Course.

Barbara is a member of the Calgary Estate Planning Council, the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners and the Canadian Bar Association.
