Michael started in the securities business in 1994 with the premier brokerage team for Nesbitt Burns, which managed over $200 million of client assets.  After acquiring multiple skills in financial analysis, Michael moved to financial planning.

For several years, he developed financial plans and portfolio allocations for a successful firm in Edmonton.

Since joining the Strategic Financial Team in June 1999, Michael has taken over management of all client portfolios for Strategic Financial. 

Michael currently holds the Canadian Investment Management (CIM) designation sponsored by the Canadian Securities Institute and has been accepted as a 'Fellow of The Canadian Securities Institute'. 

The fellowship designation (FCSI) is one of the most respected designations available in the CDN market place.
